The Tabernacle Baptist Church believes and teaches the following:
1. There is One God in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Matt. 28:19 & John 5:7)
2. We believe that the Bible in its entirety is verbally inspired, that is "God breathed". That it is inerrant and infallible in the original manuscripts. We also believe that it is the only authority for Christian faith, practice, instruction, and training in righteousness. (2 Tim. 3:16 & 2 Peter 1:20-21)
3. The eternal Deity of Jesus Christ. (John 3:16, Heb. 13:8, Rev. 1:8, & Rev. 1:18)
4. The virgin birth of Jesus Christ. (Isa. 7:14 & Luke 1:27)
5. The sinless humanity of Jesus Christ. (Heb. 4:15)
6. The substitutionary death of Jesus Christ. (Rom. 5:6, Rom. 5:8, & 1 John 2:2)
7. The bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. (John 20:26-28 & Luke 24:39)
8. Salvation by faith, without works, solely by grace. (Eph. 2:8-9 & Titus 3:5)
9. The power of Christ's blood to save and cleanse from sin. (Col. 1:14, 1 Peter 1:18-19, & Eph. 1:7)
10. The baptism of every believer by the Holy Spirit upon receiving Christ. (Act 2:4, Act 4:31, Acts 10:44, & Eph. 1:7)
11. One baptism but many filling* during the Christian experience. (Eph. 5:18, Phil. 1:11, John 14:26, & 2 Peter 3:18)

15. Baptism by immersion for believers only. (Act 8:36-39 & Rom. 6:4-5)

The Genesis account of creation, that it is to be accepted literally and not allegorically or figuratively; that man was created directly in God's own image and after His own likeness; that man's creation was not a matter of evolution, evolutionary change of species, or development through interminable periods of time from lower to higher forms; that all animals and vegetable life were made directly; and God's established law as the they forth only "after their own kind". (John 1:1-4, Heb. 11:3, & Gen. 1:1, 11, 21-27, 2:7, 21-23)
17. The absolute command to make disciples beginning at home and extending outward to all nations. (Act 1:8 & Matt. 28:19-20)
18. The one body of Christ, consisting of all believers, regardless of color, race, or standing. (2 Cor. 12:13, Col. 1:18, & Gal. 3:28)
19. The imminent and personal return of the Lord Jesus Christ to take His Body (of believers) unto Himself before the tribulation and to set up His Kingdom on earth after the tribulation. (2 Thess. 4:16-17, Rev 11:15, Ps. 72:8, Acts 1:11, & Rev. 20:1-4,6)
20. The need of works after we are saved if we are to prove "what is good and acceptable, and the perfect will of God". (James 2:26 & Titus 3:8)
